Etsy advisor

Over the years I have learned a lot about using etsy.com as a selling platform. With 2 shops to keep stocked and managed it is a commitment not to be taken lightly. You either want to sell your products or you don’t but there’s a whole lot more to it than just opening the shop and stocking it.

I met many crafts people through organising Lewes Craft market for 3 years and many of them had tried using etsy to sell their wares. Unsuccessfully. That’s where my years of expertise comes in.

I can offer a complete training package tailored to you needs. From photography advice, copywriting, and reaching potential customers. I can help set up social media as well as offer ongoing advice and support.

The package includes up to 4 hours of one to one tutelege, a month of telephone-email support with an option for me to promote your shop from my home.

I can help get you started with 40 free listings by using this link http://etsy.me/2BOX5EQ

Networking

Was something I thought other people did. I didn’t think it was relevant to someone like me who spends 95% of her time on her own, in her own little woolly bubble.Processing wool is a lonesome profession and I’ve spent the last 8 years doing it. I’m not a hermit-don’t get me wrong-I was a member of various organisations which got me out meeting like minded people and enjoying social activities.

Last year I joined a local group of people who work from home not realising it was actually a networking group. I went for the coffee and the opportunity to chat to other humans who also spend a lot of time working on their own.

There I met Debra, Debra opened my eyes to other ‘networking’ possibilities. Being new to the area Debra needed to spread the word about what she did, I’ve been in the area for more than 10 years and everyone around here knows what I do, don’t they?

My neighbours know what I do, but realisitically does anyone else? So I started attending Mumpreneurs networking club. This week I visited Toast in Hove and Brighton BNI. Where will it lead ? If you are looking to make your business grow, then it’s up to you to reach out, spend some time and as much as you can afford to join some networking groups. Most importantly enjoy it!
