Today is National farm open day and my very favourite farm will be open to the public-Spring Farm in Fletching, Nr Uckfield East Sussex. I will be spinning some of the alpaca fibre the animals produce and will have some items for sale. Not only is it National farm open day it’s also Fletching open garden trail so if the lure of the alpacas is not enough to tempt you to visit Fletching there are pretty gardens to see too!
Spring Farm is a little way from the village but very much worth a ten minute walk.

Hope you had a good Open Farm Sunday despite the rain – it seemed to go well in Ambridge ( but then it never seems to rain there!). Susanne

we had abot 100 through, steady stream, as was the rain! luckily it wasn’t too bad until 4ish but people were still coming. It clashed with Fletching open gardens so we had some and some, they didn’t complain about the lack of an actual garden though!
